The Service Design Package is a master collection of information about a given service. As this information is similar to a "business plan" for each service, the SDP can be similar to a business plan and use templates to include key areas to help define the service. Some of those known areas are: Requirements, Strategy, Customer Information, Technology Used, Configurations, Applications, Sub Services, Operations, Failover, Baseline, Benchmarking and more. |
Service Cube then transforms these detailed SDPs into a varity of service management views such as Service Portfolios and Service Catalogs. | |
